"THE EQUALIZER™" by PB Adaptive Sports Equipment - adaptive accessories for the outdoors.

To satisfy the need of individuals with disabilities and the disabled soldiers from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan wanting to participate in outdoor activities, "The Equalizer™" was developed by PB Sports.

This multipurpose mount was developed to assist this well deserving population to become a productive part of society and enjoy the outdoors.  This is a one of a kind wheelchair mount hunting device that has already seen success with a variety of disabled hunters.  Along the development path we have identified a number of significant uses where our mount can be used to fill gaps with assistive technology in the areas of hunting, paintball, fishing, photography and spectator sports.

"The Equalizer™" allows the user to mount hunting firearms, take pictures, or play a fish from their wheelchair without the assistance of a friend.  All of these outdoor activities can be accomplished just by changing the main module on the arm of our device.  The same module can be used for most rifles and crossbows.  A separate module for a revolver, fishing rod, camera, and a binocular mount are required. Great News!

A brand new Polaris Ranger was donated to HHWV!  This will give us the ability to transport our wounded hero's into hunting areas so they can enjoy the thrill of big game hunting and fishing again.  We are in the process of fitting the UTV with a special lift mechanism to lift a disabled person from a wheelchair into the back of the UTV and allow for safe transport to almost any hunting or fishing location.

We should be ready to go by March 1, 2009.

Step 1 - Press a button until the casting arm stops in the "Back Position."  Step 2 - Press a button until the casting arm automatically casts out the line and stops in the "Fishing Position."  Step 3 - Press a button to retrieve line, work a lure, hook and land fish.




For totally hands-free fishing, the user simply straps on the chest plate which supports a fully adjustable arm and control box containing the three push button switches that can be easily operated by the user's chin.
